The SLFAC offers classes to the community
in such areas as Lifeguard Training, Water Safety Instructor (WSI), Jr.
Lifeguarding, 1st Aid and Safety, CPR, Babysitting and more. These classes
happen throughout the year with a majority of them being between the months
of April through August. Keep checking back because these classes will
change on a regular basis. Our upcoming classes are found below: |

Lifeguard
Training

Show Low Family Aquatic Center is
offering Lifeguard training. This is an American Red Cross
certified training. This is a great opportunity to earn
extra money, develop leadership skills, gain valuable work experience
and Have Fun!! The prerequisites for this class are: Must be
15 years of age by end of class. Swim 300 yards continuously (100 yds
front crawl stroke, 100 yds breast stroke, and 100 yds mix of crawl and
breast stroke). Submerge to minimum of 7 feet, retrieve a 10 pound
object and swim 20 feet with the object. |
