Records

Records handles all phases of record-keeping and public record distribution for the Show Low Police Department.  Duties include maintaining and providing copies of police and accident reports to insurance companies, attorneys and the public, as well as providing information on arrests and major cases to the Navajo County attorney and other agencies for prosecution. In 2010, Records processed 2,888 Departments reports. Other duties include:

Handling walk-in lobby traffic.

• Provide police and accident reports to public upon request.

• Video and audio duplication as necessary for court proceedings, attorneys and public.

• Monitoring uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) and juvenile justice compliance.

• Submitting all reportable accidents to the Arizona Department of Transportation in Phoenix.

• Providing fingerprinting to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays 2PM-4PM.

• Issue alarm permits.

• Provide back ground checks for apartments, residence and salvation army assistance.

Requesting  a copy of a criminal record from the Show Low Police Department is now as easy as 1-2-3:

1. Use our online Records Request Form to submit your request via the Internet.

2. Download a Records Request Form, then fill it out and return it to the Show Low Police Department by mail, in person, or E-Mail.

3. Come in to the Police Department and fill out a request in person. 

Traffic Accident Reports are available to you without contacting the Show Low Police Department.
