There is currently no place to dispose of glass in the White Mountains. The nearest drop off location is in
Flagstaff at the Norton Environmental Material Recovery Facility (MRF) located at 1800 E. Butler Ave.

Glass is crushed into sand at the facility and mixed with paper sludge and wood mulch to be reused as an
Alternative Daily Cover (ADC) and layered at the landfill. This process complies with EPA requirements.
